Fallout London

I had the extreme good fortune of writing for one of the largest, if not the largest, Fallout mods ever made: Fallout London. The Fallout series is one of my absolute favorites, in large part because of the writing and mission design, so getting to write on this project was an absolute dream come true for me.

As a writer I got to concept and pitch everything from full missions with complicated, interwoven decision paths, to fully fleshed out companion characters like Mad Jack, a massive old-world pugilist who will team up with you and mock you every time you use a gun instead of your fists.

Every mission I wrote included all of the dialogue between the colorful cast of characters, the backstory and narrative of the mission itself, and even the notes, terminals entries and easter eggs that fill out the world and make it feel real and lived in.

The game will come out in May of this year (2024) and I can’t wait for people to play it.

As an added easter egg, you can find my doodled self portrait hanging in the royal portrait gallery within the post-apocalyptic Buckingham Palace:

It’s a pretty uncanny likeness.
