Challenge

Brisket U, a company that runs BBQ brisket classes, came to me wanting to make a Christmas-themed video that would get people talking to share over their social media channels.

Process

I wrote, directed, edited, and provided voice over for "The Hunger", which you can see above. They wanted something kind of dark and gritty so I took that one note and ran with it. I had never made something so macabre but I thought the weird, cannibalistic story line mixed with the traditionally cheery nature of a Christmas poem was a fun, albeit slightly off-putting, juxtaposition. 

Execution

The marketing team at BrisketU were equal parts excited and disturbed by the video and plan on featuring it across their social media channels this Christmas season (2017).
